I have been a musician for over 20 years. My background spans classical violin and viola, composition, rock and classical guitar, and pop songwriting.

Since moving to Philly in 2013, I have played in several bands while producing my own music. Currently, I play regularly with the band 88mph based in Riverside, NJ, write music for the show I produce at Good Good Comedy Theater in Philadelphia, and teach lessons to students of all ages.

Guitar Lessons (Hour)

I have played guitar for over 15 years in genres spanning rock, pop, classical, and musical theater. I play guitar professionally with the band 88mph. If you are a beginner who needs help with the basics or an intermediate player looking to learn some music, we'd make a great fit. Acoustic and electric welcome.

Piano Lessons (Hour)

While piano is not my main instrument, I have a significant working knowledge of the piano and I can provide beginners with a solid foundation upon which to expand. If you are a complete beginner, I can most likely take you on for about a year.

Violin Lessons (Hour)

Violin was my first instrument back when I was just six years old. I teach the same levels on viola and violin.

Viola Lessons (Hour)

I studied classical viola intensely throughout middle school, high school, and into college through private lessons, youth symphonies, musical theater pits, and more. I am happy to take on beginners or kids working on music for auditions and concerts.

Music Theory/Songwriting/Composition

I have over 15 years of experience in composition and songwriting for everything from string quartets and bands to live comedy productions. Whether you need help learning the building blocks of music composition or would like some pointers on works-in-progress, I can give you the guidance you're looking for.
